So Afraid of Health Checkup

Working from home is great, but one big drawback.

We are so afraid of the annual health checkup.  The checkup around mid-April or early-May, which is sort of mandatory under the universal healthcare in Japan, is always our great concern, but this year we are SOOO afraid of it!  We GAINED weight!!

We really wish we could look like this.

We are pretty good at regulating and pacing ourselves while working from home: get up at a regular time, make coffee (indispensable for switching to the working mood), make to-do plans for the day, and then start working.  However, lunch is a huge obstacle for staying healthy.  We like eating, so we eat more than what we would eat at work.  Also, we do not move around at home, and do less exercise.  Oh, no.... we forgot to consider the calories we normally consume while commuting (e.g., walking and standing in crowded trains).  No wonder we gained weight.  Well, it is too late to take some measures  for good scores at the checkup, right?
