Ghone is gone: a Stealth Action PC Game

Have you ever heard of Carlos Ghosn, who was the former C.E.O. of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (one of the top automobile companies in Japan)?  Funny or witty, but not so funny a PC game, which models and sort of teases him, is to be released soon.

Briefly, let us talk about his background.

He is allegedly accused of using the company's money for his own benefits, or filing "underestimated" tax returns for his privileged CEO benefits and others.  Interestingly, in 2004, he was literally a hero, who rescued Nissan from financial problems and was awarded by then the Emperor.  Before that indictment, he had been respected and admired for his excellent management skills.

On January 3rd, when Japanese people were enjoying New Year's drinks and food, Ghosn's dramatic news sensationally attracted their attention: Ghosn made a very DRAMATIC escape from Tokyo Detention Center, where he was held for such alleged financial misconducts.

The way he escaped from his legal detention is also like a SF movie.  He is reported to have hid himself in the box for musical instruments, to go through the customs, and to fly by his private airplane out of Japan. People wonder if that could be really possible in the modern society?

Whether Ghosn is guilty of not, an interesting PC game "Ghone is gone" is to be released on January 22nd, 2020.  This is a fiction game, but here is the catch...

This "stealth action game" features that the former CEO who escapes the country where he was captured, being hid in a case for musical instruments.  Sounds really familiar, right?  He throws money at enemies and bribes them, which is his weapon.  If you lose all the money you possess before you make it to your destination, the game is over.  The point you can get is determined by how much money you can keep intact when you reach your destination.

This link explains more about the game, unfortunately only in Japanese.  We think some Japanese are pretty witty although his escape is NOT the one Japanese society or its judicial systems are so proud of!!  Would you like to try?  We would!!
