Safe Japan: Back to School Essentials

Despite a lot of recent heart-breaking news, Japan is considered a very safe place.  Crime rates are pretty low with gun-related incidents rarely reported.

As you can easily imagine, we cannot well protect ourselves from gun shootings.  For a knife assault, we can use "judo" (English: Japanese martial art, which focuses on protection or defence, not offence) moves by tackling assailants.  However, probably we can do nothing for the intruders carrying guns.

The following video clip is really shocking and has made us realize how safe Japan is.  In Japan, we do not have to worry about our safety while walking on the street even after 23:00 and much less about being a victim of the gun violence.

The video shown below was originally made  for a TV commercial and aired in the U.S. just a few days ago (Sept. 18, 2019).  September is the time when the new school year starts in the U.S.  As soon as it was released on Youtube, it has gone viral in a day.

Even with the controversy the TV commercial/Youtube video clip allegedly caused in the U.S. society, we strongly believe that THIS VIDEO is worth watching and would like to share it with our readers.

What do you think of this video of Back to school Essentials?
